My Story

My journey with Nu Light Candles started as a healing process from leaving a very destructive cult just about when the COVID pandemic hit. I owe everything to Jesus and God because they were my light, my strength and my confidence. Soon I discovered candle making as a hobby to overcome the stress and anxiety into something positive and encouraging. I grew to love and appreciate candle making as an art and as a relaxation method. It made me feel happy to create something for myself and others by seeing their joy in their faces. I gave some candles away as gifts to family and friends and they loved it. Then one day I decided to sell them to neighbors in my community to see if they would buy my candles. It was a hit!! As a result, I received positive responses from my neighbors and sold candles for about a year before making the leap to start a candle business in 2022.

About Our Products

We are located in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. Our candles are eco-conscious made from 100% soy, reusable jars and quality fragrance oils. Our candles are designed for calm, focus love and energy. 

 

Our mission

We support women that have been traumatized from abuse, neglect and mental illness. All our candles are hand poured with love and 10% of our sales is donated to women shelters and education for women in the San Antonio area and the United States.

We are supporting Family Violence Prevention Services of San Antonio as one of charities to help abused women and children.

 

 

Our candle fragrances range from aromatic, floral, woodsy, fruity, citrus, and spice. Some of our customers have requested cookie fragrances for Christmas, so we listened and made it happen for them. It's all about the customer experience and we value their opinions. So have a look around and try some candles, I know you're love it.
